Chaperon has bilge keels and draws just under a metre. Noted as the second best sailing bilge keeler after the Falcon, which is just a bigger version of the same design so naturally a bit quicker. 1976 Derecktor Custom 72' Ketch £35,000
Built for C Thomas Clagett Jr, an American businessman in 1976, this 72' ketch has had a fascinating history! Built at Derecktor Shipyard (known as America's most accomplished boatbuilder), her early life was spent around Florida and the Bahamas where having a centreboard made cruising that area accessible for a large yacht.
