Steel hull, twin keel sailing yacht.
This yacht was constructed from a kit supplied by Marine Profiles of Falmouth. I built this yacht for my own use and launched in 2005. The hull is professionally welded inside and out. The steel kit was supplied shotblasted and primed with a weldable epoxy primer. On completion the hull was epoxy primed inside and out before final finishing coats. Construction photo's available. Ill health is forcing me to sell this much loved yacht. The sale includes dinghy, outboard, many warps, fenders, spare anchors & chain.

The Konsort was the swansong design of the very successful yacht designer Laurent Giles. She was in production from 1979 until 1993 which is a testament to her desirability and design. Introduced to plug the gap between the 26 and 31 footers she was an instant hit thanks to her "Centauresque" lines and generous beam.
While she lacks speed in light airs she makes up for it in a blow and can carry full sail beyond a force 4. Deep safe cockpit, reliable Bukh diesel, proper chart table, decent galley, and 5 berth accommodation makes this cruiser as popular today as she was in her heyda... read more
