Samantha is a Mahogany hulled classic yacht, hull No.2 built in 1960. She is currently on the hard standing at Portavadie Marina, Argyll & Bute.
She requires some work prior to relaunch, which I do not have the time to do.
I recently replaced the wooden mast with an aluminium mast, new boom and stainless steel standing rigging.
The buyer will be required to take over her berth at Portavadie Marina until end March 2020.

This 1980 Maxi 77 is a fine example of the Swedish designed sloop rigged sailing yacht with 7.5hp volvo penta diesel engine. The Englyn design dates from 1932 and was originally published in F B Cooke’s WEEK-END YACHTING book in 1933. Describing the design Harrison Butler wrote ‘This is the result of evolution. The original Cyclone design has been built in considerable numbers and has proved to be satisfactory.
