Advancing years have finally forced me to sell my 2004 Coastal Whammel gaff rigged dayboat.
This is the twin cockpit swing keel model which will float in just 18in but draws 2ft 10in with keel down.
She has a traditional gaff mainsail and a roller reefing fore sail. She is fitted with a substantial galvanised keel band so can take the ground, intentionally or otherwise, and will sit on the side keels quite happily to dry out on a beach etc.
The boat has hardwood gunwales and gratings to the cockpit sole and hardwood side benches around the cockpit. The spars are wooden, all mooring cleats g...

Brena May has a fibreglass 24ft hull, teak decks & cockpit and is fitted with a Thornycroft Type 33 2 cylinder diesel 15 bhp engine (serviced and run up in June). She's on a SBS 3.5 Tonne 4 wheel trailer. Brena May has not been in the water since 2012 and has spent the last two years in dry and well ventilated barn. I have been trying to put her back in ship shape condition to get her back in the water this summer, but now realised I do not have the time. The deck was treated with Coelan non slip varnish which looked amazing, but now needs redoing. Coelan is an excellent highly durabl...

I'm selling Four Winds after twenty years of happy cruising around the Bristol Channel. She was built in 1978 by Cobramould and was optimistically sold as a five berth. She has a good size cockpit but for cruising she's more comfortable for a crew of two or three. Good locker space. She's a sturdy little boat that has looked after us in some really difficult conditions. She has an inboard Dolphin two stroke petrol engine and also a transom mount for an outboard as an alternative. Internally she could do with a bit of modernisation but is ready to sail as she is. A change of circ...

Big project.
Originally built to Yachting Monthly’s Waterwich plans but approx. 15% larger and of hardwood. She was a sloop rig. Modified approx. late 60’s early 70’s to be a ketch by the then owner in Ireland. Bought by my father in 1974. Used and maintained well up to approximately 1985 when use declined. Since then she was in and out of the water...
