Located abaft the companionway, Volvo Penta 2002 2-cylinder 18hp diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller.
The engine was removed in 2015 and professionally overhauled and serviced. This included all new filters, belts and fluids, main front and rear oil seals were renewed, a new starter motor and engine mounts.
Sadler 29 built by Sadler Yachts in 1988 to a design by Martin Sadler. White GRP hull featuring the Sadler twin skin hull construction providing thermal and acoustic insulation and making the boat unsinkable. White GRP coachroof with grey moulded non-slip deck surfaces. Cast iron twin keels. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Teak rubbing strake and grab rails. Teak laid cockpit seats. Self draining cockpit and anchor well.
The accommodation offers up to six berths in two cabins. Forward cabin with V berth and infill to create double, opening hatch to foredeck and stowage areas. Separate heads compartment to port with Jabsco marine toilet and washbasin. Saloon consisting of a dinette seating area to port which can convert to a double berth, removabe table with drop leaves and settee berth to starboard. Chart table aft to starboard with navigation equipment and quarter berth behind. Galley to port equipped with a stainless steel 2-burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven, stainless steel sink and ample storage. Manually pumped cold water supply throughout. Eberspacher diesel fired warm air heating system with single outlet into saloon. Blue upholstery. Blinds and carpets.
