'Giselle' is a Jaguar 25, built in 1986 of GRP construction. She has twin bilge keels (ideal for East Coast sailing), and a Volvo diesel 9HP engine with 10-gallon fuel tank. She has a masthead bermudan rig with a fully battened mainsail (Crusader 2000), furling genoa (2000). The mast, rig and furling gear were all replaced in 1994, and the saildrive seal replaced in 2007.
The rudder is transom-hung, and the cockpit is self-draining. The internal layout has 5 berths in 2 cabins with approximately 5' 10" standing headroom.

Jaguar 25 with swing keel and good road trailer. Keel had new swival ball and pin in 2009. Main in good condition Genoa 10 years old but in good condition. New spray hood and main cover 2013. Reliable Yanmar 1GM10 last serviced 2017 and not done many hours since.Most rigging both running and standing was replaced in 2009. Very easy to sail single handed with its balanced rudder upgrade. Jaguar 25 New to the market. Kari Jane is a nice and simple example of this good little sailing boat. The Fin keel provides good performance, yet, draft only 1.19m so suitable for the East Coast UK. She features an 8hp Yamaha outboard/inboard engine which was serviced 2018. The owner has made a good little modification to the sleeping arrangement within the saloon which enables the table to be lowered and provides a full width berth. In the brokers opinion this would make a good first boat, not overly complicated but rewarding to sail and value for money.... read more

These boat details are subject to contract. The Jaguar 25 is a popular first time yacht and quite rightly so. She features a good sized cockpit and plenty of room below with a pilot berth and ample space in the saloon. This Jaguar was purchased by the current owner 5 years ago but unfortunately due to work commitments he has not had the time to use her last season. She has been out of the water ashore for about a year now.
