A nice boat that competes with the more expensive Cornish Shrimpers. large open cockpit with a small open backed coach-roof offering 2 berths or sheltered seating. Her shallow draft allows access to the upper reaches of estuaries, and with small beaching legs she can easily take the ground on a drying mooring or for overnight camping trips.
The Tosher was based on a traditional local working boat from Mevagissey and built in GRP by Terry Heard of Gaffers and Luggers of Mylor near Falmouth.
Gaff cutter rig on a deck stepped solid wooden mast in a galvanised tabernacle. Wooden boom, gaff and bowsprit.
Sails include mainsail, new topsail, 2 x staysails and 2 x jibs.
Yanmar 1GM10 single cylinder diesel engine. Reconditioned in 2014.
Shaft drive to a centreline Darglow feathering propeller.
