All Sailing Yachts for sale in Isle of Wight

One owner for last 16 years who has meticulously maintained and upgraded Fantasea with no expense spared. It would be easier to list what is not included with this boat than to list what is - see below. The Jeanneau Sun Oddysey 40.3 is the quintessential family cruising yacht and is happy just pottering around the Solent or for the more adventurous serious offshore sailing. The current owner has sailed her extensively along the South Coast including trips to Northern France, The Channel Islands, The Isle of Scilly and the republic of Ireland. Fully equipped for single-handed sailing with al... read more

1985 LM28   £29,500
The LM 28 is a motor-sailor designed by Bent Juul Anderson. 325 were built between 1982 and 1991 by the Danish yard LM Glasfiber A/S. Lazy Mariner was built in 1985 and is a fine example of Scandinavian quality boat building. The teak interior of Lazy Mariner is both innovative as it is vast and is comparable to yachts over 3 or 4 feet longer. The interior comprises of a wheelhouse/galley, vast main cabin with hanging locker starboard and heads to port plus a generous double berth in the fore cabin. On top of that there is a good size cockpit with a full canopy and collapsible dining table. La... read more

1979 Nicholson 31   £23,000
This Nicholson 31 is like no other. She is a one-owner vessel and her condition inside and out testify to that fact. In superb condition throughout you could be forgiven to think she was no more than 5 years old and not Hull Number 97 first launched in 1979 ! The Nicholson 31, was in production for 4 years from 1976 to 1980 during which time 119 were built. The ‘31’ succeeded the very popular Nicholson 32, but the Raymond Wall design of the Nick 31 with its long keel soon became the choice of the experienced offshore enthusiast and in particular a favourite of the single handed sailor. Ma... read more

This Cornish Crabber is no ordinary Cornish Crabber. If, you are a looking for a first-class version of this ever-popular marque look no further - this one is for you and must be the best one on the market. Nellie, built in 1979 hull number 237, is reluctantly on the market. A new 16 HP Beta engine fitted in 2020 plus major refit in 2021 with all new sails would alone make this a truly remarkable vessel. However, there is more..... First of all, she sports an extended bow sprit to accommodate the new powerful genoa plus she is also rigged for the cruising folk to sail single handed if need ... read more

1984 Jeanneau Rush 31   £12,000
Murena is a Jeanneau Rush 31 based on a successful IOR 1/2 ton design with 580 made between 1979 and 1985. A number of different versions of the RUSH 31 were available and looking at the Ron Holland designed hull it is obvious Murena is a fast vessel. While she may not compete these days for ‘Line honours’ with the likes of a J109, on handicap and locally ‘Around the Cans’ she should be a serious contender. However, Murena has been recently refitted out with comfortable fast cruising in mind. Add a hull speed of nearly 7 knots and cruising speed of 5 knots she would make passages to ... read more

1985 Newbridge Pioneer   £12,450
The Newbridge Pioneer, designed by Bill Dixon (better known for his work with Moody Yachts), was first produced in 1985 and came in two versions. This is the Pioneer Pilot and the bilge keel model with twin helm stations making her a family cruiser with what is considered respectable performance under both sail and engine. She really has got lots of big boat features, a pilothouse with wheel steering, davits and a bow thruster are more than you'd expect to find on a 26' yacht! Below can only be described as cavernous and is typical of British boat design in that everything has as many uses ... read more

1976 Nantucket Clipper   £9,950
Yachts and Yachting magazine review said of the Nantucket Clipper back in 1970 'She is a fine yacht in her own right, but with a special appeal to anyone seeking something a little different from the average.' Nicely put.... this one is out of the water with her rig out and alongside her and sails stored in the owners garage. A solid honest boat, mainly original however with the modified forward cabin which suited the previous owners requirements. If you put that back to as she was she'd be a great family boat again and has everything you need to get sailing These boat details are subjec... read more

Spring Breeze was designed by Fredrick Parker in 1980 and is, most likely, one of his last designs before his passing in 1985. Fredrick was known for designing the Javelin 30 in GRP, in his own comments ‘not a material he favoured’. Spring Breeze was built using a cold moulded method from 25mm Iroko, with a teak deck. The original owner, who had a smaller Fred Parker yacht beforehand, designed her with racing and extensive cruising in mind. After some very early design changes to the keel and rudder, what is found today in Spring Breeze is a very capable cruising yacht. Spring Breeze off... read more

Cavailer was built in 1991 by Lallows of Cowes using a mahogany double diagonal cold moulded construction, this gives you the best of both worlds if you are a lover of varnished hulls but want the strength of grp. Originally built for a French owner who raced her until the late 90s when she was carefully laid up until the current owner found her in France and had her transported to Petticrows, where a wonderful refurbishment was undertaken. During the refit nothing was left unturned, full strip and varnish of her beautiful mahogany topsides, hard racing antifoul polished onto the bottom, n... read more
