The Miller Fifer was a very successful range of motor sailers, built by James Miller and Sons of St Monance, Scotland. Millers were a long established firm passing through several generations with a proud reputation for building fine fishing boats up to 70’ or so.
The yard also built a number of large yachts before the war and continued with yacht building in the 1950s and 1960s with the Fifer range. The Fifers had a direct lineage to the fishing boats built by the yard and, in their various sizes were built with the same massive scantlings as the fishing boats.

The owner of this boat has been living abroad for a number of years and so this Offshore 8M has had little or no attention for some time. It would be easy to assume that this time would have taken its toll but she is remarkably well presented.
To enjoy this boat, a full engine service would be required and most probably the battery replaced (Please note no equipment has been tested). Some light cleaning inside and out, some sanding and oiling of the woodwork and a general tidy up as well as anti fouling as expected.
The inventory would allow for her to be used from the offset with both head... read more
This Colvic Liberator 35 has been in the same ownership since new. She was brought ashore some 3 years ago and laid up for the winter and due initially to Covid and then subsequently illness, the boat has been on the hard exactly as she was left.
Obviously, she gathered some West of Scotland green, of which a lot was easily removed with a power wash.
The boat has been marked up as a project due to the time she has been ashore. We believe everything was working at the time she came ashore, recognising there will likely be work to be done due to the passage of time.

These boats provide an array of sailing options in either a sailing or powerboat capacity, and so make an excellent option for anybody looking for a boat that can be used on lakes and most inland waters, alongside coastal cruising opportunities.
As a trailerable option, stability is provided by water ballast tanks, which can be drained, including when the boat is being used in its faster capacity as a powerboat. Th... read more

Anderson 22 - designed by Oliver Lee and built by Anderson Rigden & Perkins in 1977. A great little boat to sail; as much fun as a dinghy but as stable and seaworthy as an offshore cruiser. Indeed - some have crossed the Atlantic! Easily driven hull with an efficient rig - she'll give good speed and good passage times - and she will handle herself well in all weathers.
