The Rolf Magnusson Albin Ballad stands out as one of the best cruiser / racers built in the seventies. These slim, fast vessels have stood the test of time well and are still very popular as sporty family cruisers today. This one benefits from a 13.5 hp Beta engine fitted in 2002 and new standing rigging in 2014, which included a new Falcon furling system. The lines lead aft to enable short or single handed sailing and she is fitted with a Gori folding prop to help streamline her under sail. The accommodation has 4 full size berths plus a couple of snug pilot berths, handy for the kids if n... read more

These beautiful, fast and classical keel boats are timeless. Just take a look at the British Dragon Association website. Originally designed in Norway and first built in 1928, the Dragon became an Olympic class back in 1948 and today there are over 1400 boats racing worldwide. This Dragon has been rescued and lovingly restored over the last few yeas by a professional boat builder locally here in Plymouth. He has now reluctantly decided to sell her due to other commitments but would like to see her taken on by an equally enthusiastic sailor. For a budding traditionalist who likes speed... read more

Built on the success of its predecessors, the Beneteau First 35 offers great sailing performance combined with modern, spacious and well thought out accommodation. Ideal for racing or as a fast family cruiser. Under the current ownership (only two owners from new), this vessel has been sailed regularly and well maintained / updated whenever required. She comes with a good sail wardrobe, including a 2018 carbon polyester racing main. There are new bearings fitted on the steering, there is a German mainsheet traveller system for the main sheet and a Harken Carbo foil for the genoa. The accom... read more

The build quality of this Malo 36 speaks for itself. This Swedish crafted sailing cruiser is more than capable of handling the Northern seas and further afield in safety, comfort and style. Pleasing to the eye, she feels and looks bigger than her 36 foot. The side decks are wide, easy to move around and the teak finish is kind and warm underfoot. The deep, spacious cockpit with solid spray screen feels safe and offers protection from the elements. The position of the main sheet traveller keeps the cockpit uncluttered, whilst the large chart plotter/radar display is easily visible from the ... read more

The Carter 33 has a good reputation for seakeeping, speed and comfort. It was one of Dick Carter s most popular designs and over 200 were built. This example has been well maintained and much improved by the current owners. They have carried out plenty of regular sailing and the only reason for selling is to upsize for adventures further afield. New standing rigging was fitted in 2015, new running rigging in 2017 and the modern Beta engine was refurbished in 2019. The lines lead aft to the cockpit to facilitate single and short handed sailing. The side decks are nice and wide and the wood... read more

We're looking for a new owner for this beautifully restored, traditional wooden sailing boat. The present owner of this lovely little yacht has many years of experience and knowledge of working with historical, wooden sailing craft of all sizes. This shows clearly in his attention to detail. Purchased in 2009 as a retirement project, he has applied these skills tirelessly over the last 7 years to repair, restore and bring this vessel up to a very high standard indeed. She has been completely stripped out, has new decks, new beams, a new mast, the cabin & decks have all been freshly epoxy ... read more

Known for their superb, strength and seaworthiness, the Nic 32 is often the serious sailors yacht of choice. Designed as racer cruisers and built to last, they provide an economical, very capable & 'fit to go anywhere' yacht. This example, which has been maintained to a high standard, has the most homely, clean & tidy accommodation I ve ever seen on a yacht of its age. It also has the added benefit of works carried out in 2011 which included a new Vetus 28 HP engine, new stern gear, new prop and all new engine bay fittings. This vessel would not be for sale if it wasn t for the owners health ... read more

A strong and well built British Yacht that has a good reputation. Known to be capable, easy to sail and seaworthy, the Moody 29's are proven to be a good all rounder for either single handed sailing or full family onboard. They are remarkably spacious for their length with a good sized cockpit and well thought out accommodation down below. The accommodation on this example is clean, tidy and dry. The huge dual size saloon table folds neatly away against the forward bulkhead whilst the saloon berths pull out to give generously sized sleeping areas which are also fitted with lee cloths. Who fancies owning and bringing a classic, well proven and pretty little racer cruiser back to her former glory? When Jeremy Rogers and David Sadler got their heads together and organised the building of the GRP Contessa 26, they produced a classic small racer/cruiser capable of sailing inshore, offshore or across the oceans and around the globe. Although this example has sat safely on a yard unused for a considerable time and is in need of some t.l.c. and updating to get her back on the water, there is a pretty good package here for a budding enthusiast. This vessel had a refit back in 2006... read more

Designed by David Feltham and built by Cobra/Seawolf Yachts, this pretty pocket cruiser manages to pack a lot into her beamy 23ft. This is the fin keeled version which is said to be speedy, manoeuvrable and sea kindly. This example is tidy & dry down below and with berths for four, a small galley and a private sea toilet, she presents an ideal first time buyers boat. Well maintained, this vessel comes with the added benefit of a reconditioned engine (in 2015) and a dingy / outboard to complete the package. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be ... read more
