It s easy to see why this strong, seaworthy, spacious, Contessa 34 hasn t exchanged ownership much in her lifetime. Built on the same successful hull moulding as the OOD 34, this fast family cruiser with graceful lines has a longer cast iron keel, extra ballast and a skeg hung rudder giving extra stiffness and stability for tackling challenging conditions and making her a good all round passage maker. Purchased as a boat show model at the 1983 London Boat Show, she was proudly sailed home to Plymouth by the first owner. In 2001, she was relocated to Poole by the owners son. In 2006, she was... read more

Designed as a fast passage maker and comfortable cruiser, this beautiful yacht is ideal for long term family cruising and comfortable living. This is the triple cabin version with acres of space. The set up is user / sail friendly. Single point reefing enables the first two reefs to be put in from the large cockpit. The main sheet is situated forwards of the companionway keeping the cockpit uncluttered and easy to move around whilst all the winches are self tailing, including one electric halyard winch. The saloon is light, bright and airy with exceptional headroom (6 6 +), a 24inch TV and p... read more

A popular medium sized cruiser with a good turn of speed, this example has been in the same ownership since 1992 and is a regular race winner locally. Nicely presented with an extensive range of sails & 2013 standing rigging, this vessel feels spacious, clean and dry down below. The lines lead aft to enable single handed sailing if required. The hull was scrubbed, stripped and re-epoxied in 2015 whilst the 8hp Yamaha engine was serviced over the 2018 / 2019 winter period. Relaunched and ready for the season ahead, an early viewing of this vessel is recommended. These boat details are subjec... read more

With almost 400 built, the Sadler 29 proved to be one of the most popular family cruisers of the Sadler range. It's easy to see why with an easy to manage size, the good standing room, convertible dinette, separate heads and hanging locker. It's always good to err on the side of saftey at sea and I think the reputed unsinkable hull of these Sadlers can only be a good thing. The bilge keels also help take the stress out of sailing when exploring estuaries and shallow waters with lively families onboard. This example could possibly do with some new upholstery but she also has some nice extras ... read more

Designed by Ed Dubois and built to have the edge over the popular Konsorts, both in performance and accommodation layout, the Westerly Merlin, although slightly smaller in length and beam, has a modern feel to it, looks good and is practical too. This fin keeled example has all the control lines leading aft to a deep and generous cockpit, the non slip deck is easy to move around and the sail cover and spray hood have been recently renewed. The accommodation benefits from both a fore and aft cabin, a separate heads compartment, a nav table complete with a Yeoman chart plotter (for those of us ... read more

These pocket sized, practical motor sailers are strongly built, seaworthy and were approved by the White Fish Authority. This example, with canoe stern & strong protective wheelhouse, was custom fitted locally for a Naval Officer who has enjoyed sailing her regularly for nearly 45 years. She has been lifted out of the water every winter to be stored undercover and be professionally maintained at a local shipyard. She may feel basic by modern standards, but this safe, seaworthy vessel that was 'built to last' has stood the test of time well and I'm sure will offer her new owners many more ye... read more

The hull of this vessel is a GRP copy of the original Blue Peter , a wooden gaff rigged cutter designed by the famous naval architect and author John Leather. Although still in the project stage, it comes with a modern road trailer, a 1GM 10 Yanmar engine, a copy of the original John Leather drawings and many other fixtures ready to be fitted. The present owner has too many other commitments at the present time and would like to see her taken on by a keen and capable classic enthusiast. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This strongly built and well designed Colvic Motor Sailer provides a practical, seaworthy and most comfortable live aboard. The Colvic hull, cutter rig and 56HP BMC Commander engine provide good passage making abilities under sail or power. The covered wheelhouse gives protection from the elements with good visibility all round. The shallow long keel with protected propeller & bilge keels allow her to sit on tidal mooring safely and comfortably. The accommodation is well laid out for living aboard. From stem to stern we begin with a forward twin cabin, followed by a double cabin, we then ... read more

This Dufour Classic Integral 30 has a lot going for it. Fast, comfortable and set up for single or short handed sailing, she also has the added flexibility of a lifting keel to reach shallow creeks and anchorages. The open plan saloon with Bretton bunk forward and private double cabin aft, gives space for the family and provides a clean, airy, light living area. There is a decent sized separate heads compartment below the companionway, a good nav table and cabin heating is fitted. The lifting keel with bearing blocks, to stop any chatter, was completely removed and serviced early 2016 and th... read more

Designed by the great Holman and Pye, these sleek and solidly built yachts are excellent sea boats. The Seamaster 925 is a well rounded yacht, ahead of it's time and good value for money. It has surprisingly roomy accommodation with good headroom and offers berths for 6 or 7 at a push. This particular example comes with a regularly serviced 2005 Diesel 19hp Volvo Penta engine, a fin keel that was re-epoxied in 2017, annually laundered sails and proof of VAT paid status, well worth consideration. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. Re... read more
