Colvic UFOs are known as good racing yachts with the advantage of comfortable cruising accommodation. Karenda is a good example, having been regularly maintained. The original engine was replaced in 2011 with a new Beta and total engine hours are under 300 hours. She is on a swinging mooring at Holyhead Sailing Club, Anglesey. Out of season she is stored on the hard on her own cradle. This is a useful feature, being a cradle that can be dismantled and easily transported.... read more

This fine example of the highly regarded fin keel Trapper 501 was built by Trapper yachts at Burseldon in 1988 . She was the last of the class to be built hence the name "Finale". She has been with the present owner since 1993. Yachting Monthly described the Trapper 501 as " A popular all rounder, well balanced, and easy to handle , ideal for family use but capable of offshore cruising or racing." Finale benefits from a new Yanmar engine, installed 2007 with only 35hrs use. A storage cradle is included in the sale. Some interior woodwork requires sanding and... read more

SOLD This Island Plastics 24 motor sailer was built by the Bristol Boat Company in 1986. Only six were built, as a rival to the Fisher 25. Steering is from the after deck by tiller, or by wheel from the fully enclosed wheelhouse. The wheelhouse is a good size with seating for the helmsman to port and further seating to starboard. There is good visibility from the wheelhouse. Going forward into the saloon there is headroom of around 5 ft 10 ins and with the table and seating area set to the side it is easy to move through the cabin.... read more

A beautifully maintained example of the classic Loch Long racing yacht class, 'Puffin' was built in 1937 by Colquhoun at their yard on the Clyde, and is in excellent condition. She is hull number 13. The design was commissioned by members of Loch Long Sailing Club to mark the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth and to replace their existing sailing craft with a low cost design which was capable of safe use in the local conditions found on Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde. The lines of the Swedish Stjärnbåt were adapted by James Croll to add a cou... read more

OWNER OPEN TO OFFERS This Achilles 24 is ideal for the dinghy sailor looking to move into coastal cruising. She performs very well and handles as easily and responsively as a large dinghy. The current owner has carried out extensive renovation work on Thetis, including new perspex windows, new woodwork below providing side lockers with perspex sliding doors and a detachable nav table. A new electrical system has been installed to provide cabin lights, nav lights and power to VHF and instruments. A solar panel boosts ... read more

This Oyster Lightwave 395 is designed to fly, and she does. The owner has taken care to increase the comfort of Blue Pearl without compromising on her racing ability. Standing and running rigging were replaced in 2014, the keel replaced by a larger heavier fitting and the engine replaced with a new Beta, and the boat was then ashore for two years with the mast off before being relaunched in 2017. During the two year lay up the hull was resprayed, the forward hatch cover reglazed, the forward bunk mattresses recovered and much interior lighting replaced with led. Work on plumbing included... read more

The Colvic Sailer 26 was designed by Colin Feltham, and this example was professionally completed by Lytham dockyard, just a stone's throw from her present berth. As can be seen she will take the ground quite happily on her bilge keels. Sundowner has been cruised as far as Cherbourg, the Scilly Isles, Thames Estuary and in and around the Irish Sea. She is well maintained by her present engineer owner who is now looking to retire due to ill health.... read more

Encounter is a cruising Folkboat built in the UK in 1986 by D C Blake and sons. She is extremely well presented and is in immaculate condition having been well maintained. A copy of the 2018 survey is available. She is not like many other models of the Folkboat class; Encounter does not have a spartan interior, in fact her accommodation is both comfortable and well appointed. She comes well equipped with a full inventory and is ready to go. The original engine has been replaced with a modern Beta 14hp with only 150 hrs use. The engine drives a Brunton feathering propeller. All contro... read more

Designed by Ron Holland and built by Master Marine (UK) the Eygthene 24 is a quarter tonner designed for speed. The exact date of build of Ethelred is not know but is believed to be in the early 1980s. The Yachting Monthly review of the design said they make a good entry level club racer or a sprightly and entertaining pocket cruiser. This example is in need of some cosmetic restoration. The engine was recently reconditioned and invoices are available. The hull underwent osmosis treatment two years ago.... read more
