This fine example of the highly regarded fin keel Trapper 501 was built by Trapper yachts at Burseldon in 1988 . She was the last of the class to be built hence the name "Finale". A beautifully maintained example of the classic Loch Long racing yacht class, 'Puffin' was built in 1937 by Colquhoun at their yard on the Clyde, and is in excellent condition. She is hull number 13. The design was commissioned by members of Loch Long Sailing Club to mark the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth and to replace their existing sailing craft with a low cost design which was capable of safe use in the local conditions found on Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde. The lines of the Swedish Stjärnbåt were adapted by James Croll to add a cou... read more

The Colvic Sailer 26 was designed by Colin Feltham, and this example was professionally completed by Lytham dockyard, just a stone's throw from her present berth. As can be seen she will take the ground quite happily on her bilge keels. Sundowner has been cruised as far as Cherbourg, the Scilly Isles, Thames Estuary and in and around the Irish Sea. She is well maintained by her present engineer owner who is now looking to retire due to ill health. She had a professionally reconditioned engine fitted 6 years ago.... read more

The Moody 33 MK 2 was originally designed by Angus Primrose as a centre cockpit sloop, with spacious accommodation and good sailing qualities. This fin keel version has been well maintained and has cruised the West Coast of Scotland, presently based at Ardfern Marina in Argyll. The present owner purchased Sheer Perfection in 2010 and although she was apparently well presented, soon realised that there were various items that required up dating and he has continued to improve and modernise her during his ownership. The owner replaced the original engine with a new Sole 42hp indirect coo... read more

She comes well equipped with a full inventory and is ready to go. The original engine has been replaced with a modern Beta 14hp with only 150 hrs use. Her present owners have cruised her widely, and spent five years on a North Atlantic circuit including stops at Madeira, the Windward Islands, and the Azores. They found she coped well with even the most intense of weather fronts. She was designed by E S Barens and built in Durban by Desmo Engineering, completed in 1988.
