HISTORY & DESCRIPTION: NORDOST is a fully documented ‘Windfall Yacht’ so-called as they fell like ripe fruits after the Second World War and were brought back to England as spoils of war. NORDOST was liberated by a Spitfire pilot and sailed back to Harwich in 1946 from the Dutch Canal where she was in use as accommodation for Luftwaffe pilots.
