Comments from the owner:- This is the background to the building of the racing catamaran " Lilly". Having been a keen racer on the Dart 18 circuit for five years I wanted to race a bigger vessel. Nothing suitable was available. I knew Derek Kelsall and liked his designs and decided to build the KSS-R-30 to his plans. Construction began in an environmentally controlled industrial unit in Abbergavenny in 2004. Building went ahead, to the designer's specifications, using 12mm Airex foam as the core of his Kelsall Swiftbuild Sandwich technique. After dry fitting the hulls were transported to Mul... read more

This vessel is a superbly fitted out and fully equipped 38ft multi-hull out of the well known Broadblue range, and was the Boat Show exhibit when first built She is as new and has been very lightly used and sailed no more than 10 times since 2003, indeed the mainsail and cruising shute are brand new and have never been used. . The twin Perkins 40hp engines have less than 160 hrs use. The interior is also as new and is very well appointed as evidenced by the photographs Unfortunately, due to personal health circumstances she has been laid up for 7 years by her fastidious owner She is in su... read more

She is nicely presented, with everything at hand, currently lying ashore as the current owner is unable to sail her. With a well-deserved reputation for good sailing, she has good visibility from the cockpit, and lots of space including a good-sized head. Storage next to the galley has been increased to aid longer passages. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. I have always enjoyed catamarans for their space and comfort. You get a lot of boat for your money and they go over especially well with new sailors in your group. Their stability offers an ease of sailing that is hard to give up and return to heeled monohulls. This one is a prime example of a clean and well maintained boat that will make any owner proud. She has sailed the waters of Scotland and has also visited Ireland in her travels. Take a look at the pictures and video. I'm sure you'll be impressed with her condition and the spaciousness of her interior and deck area. Photographed N... read more

The Prout range of catamarans are well proven, cruising multihulls, with a seaworthy design, solid build and pleasing performance. The Prout Quest is an ideal coastal cruising yacht, with spacious accommodation, ease of handling and shallow draught and in the right conditions capable of longer trips. Being a multihull, the boat is capable of passage speeds around 7-9 knots, depending on conditions and sails surprising well upwind. The quest has plenty of accommodation, throughout the two hulls, with four cabins and a large saloon area. There is excellent standing headroom in the hulls, wher... read more
