David Morris has been a yacht broker since 1987, firstly with Westerly and then with Woodrolfe Brokerage but now independent with offices at Tollesbury Marina and Titchmarsh Marina in Essex. We have sold thousands of boats over the past 30 years, we are based in Essex and serve the whole of the East Coast of the UK and overseas. SMACKS BOAT - BUILT TO ORDER!
The Smacks Boat was first produced in the early 1970s from one of the last wooden dinghies built by master craftsman Alf Last of Cooks Barge Yard Maldon, and it has been evolving ever since. Early versions were sold to yacht and smack owners as tenders and many shells were fitted out by enthusiastic amateurs.

Built in 1949. Constructed of marine ply with fore, aft and side decks, lifting keel (6mm galvanised steel), lifting rudder, optional bowsprit (needs fixings).

No builders plate as essentially an amateur build although to very high standard by a craftsman in wood.
