"Back Chat" is a very good example of the Seal 22 class. She is very tidy inside and out, has good sails and an excellent, regularly serviced four stroke outboard engine. She is easy but exciting to sail putting many bigger boats to shame. Having a lifting keel means that "Back Chat" is ideal for Chichester Harbour and the Solent area. A great weekender for a family or for single-handed use

This cruising yacht offers a lot of space, with seven berths for all the family, the highlight being the separate aft cabin that can sleep two, or be used as a great storage space. My first impressions of this boat are that the current owner has equipped her very well and enjoyed her with the family. The exterior needs a bit of a clean, while the interior is a pleasant place to be - well equipped and tidy, along with all the modern navigation gear you will need. Seal 28s are known for being family cruising boats that fit in a lot of accommodation and we think this one is well worth a look. T... read more

The Seal 22 is a seaworthy and easy to handle day sailer, with potential for trailering. With the lifting keel it also makes an ideal boat for exploring the shallows. An interesting and useful feature of the Seal 22 is the large companionway entrance; there is no bulkhead and the boat therefore opens up to form an inner cockpit - an ideal place to get out of the weather, whilst keeping a look out. This innovative design feature also creates a larger interior than other boats of a similar size, providing four berths and six at a pinch! On visiting the boat, I was struck by the upkeep and si... read more
