Draig is a safe, comfortable and, perhaps surprisingly, fast boat to sail - easily balanced and almost effortless to sail with her ketch rig.
She is set up for single-handed sailing with halyards led to the spacious centre cockpit and an electric windlass with controls at the helm. The Aries Vane Gear and easily balanced rig allow her to sail herself for sustained periods.
Below deck she is very roomy, particularly for a 10 metre boat. She sleeps two in the v berth and two in the aft cabin – the port side main cabin sofa also pulls out to make a queen sized berth, and the starboard side sofa can be used as a berth. She has a full-function gas cooker with grill and oven, a fridge and a large cabin table for comfort and entertaining.
Currently afloat in Porthmadog, Gwynedd. Dried out viewing possible by arrangement.
