Partisan is a well-proven Sigma 33, built in 1979 by Marine Projects to the David Thomas design. I have owned her since 2007, during which time she has been actively and successfully raced. She remains Sigma 33 One Design compliant, making her ideal for class racing or competitive club sailing.
Key upgrades include a new mast, boom and gas kicker in 2007, a new plastic fuel tank (2007), new standing rigging in 2017, and the hull epoxied and faired in 2017. She is powered by a reliable Yanmar 2GM diesel engine.
The Sigma 33 is renowned for its performance, strong build quality, and excellent handling. Partisan has a proven race history and represents a solid opportunity to acquire a competitive one-design yacht with significant work already completed.
