Nelson 40/42 built in 1972 and completed by Guernsey Boat Building, Skeabost was built to a very high standard but now is in need of a full cometic refurbishment. A recent survey of her Nov 2022 concludes " The hull and superstructure of the Nelson 40 motor cruiser called 'Skeabost' was found to be structurally sound at the time of the survey. The Nelson 40 is a true all weather boat, renowned for their sea keeping ability. This is the Nelson 40 Pilot which gives her an outside helm position on the aft deck.
