The Kelt 8.50 is a complete "Tardis" She is roomy, beamy and very well laid out below. She was designed by Patrick Roseo who took advantage of the high-volume hull. She is open plan layout with a U-Shaped partial bulkhead separating the raised forward double bunk from the main living area. This provides a comfortable and spacious seating area around 3-sides of the saloon.
The keel case is mostly hidden by a wooden double-leaved folding table. Thanks to the short coachroof and flush foredeck, headroom forward of the galley is over 5', but there is 6' plus headroom in the galley and heads. The double aft cabin is large and roomy. She has lots of natural light is provided from the three opening portholes.
There is a large hanging locker as you enter and excellent below bunk stowage. Stowage throughout the boat is good due to the lack of interior hull mouldings taking up valuable space.
