Inchcape 38 twin engine motor sailer, 1965, a large wooden wheelhouse of mahogany with a laid teak roof. Laid teak decks, A very robust Scottish Fishing boat style of design Designed by J.Francis Jones and Mr Evans.
She is now in excellent condition throughout, a real credit to all his hard work In commission.Generous headroom of 7ft throughout, berths for 6 persons.
The vessel underwent a massive three year refit 2013-16 which included re-engining her. A large amount of re wiring ans tank cleaning. new engine beds were fitted for the new Ford engines a pair of 65's hp. All the ballast was removed cleaned and reinstalled. All electronics were replaced along with their electrical supply. Below decks all the upholstery replaced . All the spars have been stripped and re varnished, re rigged . Wheelhouse was entirely stripped back a teak planked roof was added to its coach roof. Extensive woodwork was replaced in the saloon and forward cabin, original features and timbers were kept where possible. Much of the bulwark planking was replaced with new .
A full commissioning survey was carried out on the vessel in 2015.

2 x Ford FSD 425, four cylinder diesel engines. Replaced the original engines she had in 2013. 65hp each. 2 x triple bladed props on stainless steel shaft. Engines sited amidships / aft.

Carvel planked hull, long keel with bilge stringers. She offers generous headroom of 7ft throughout the accommodation.
Amidships she has a large wheel house made from Iroko & mahogany, re roofed with laid teak in 2014. THis has been varnished, teak left natural.
Decks are laid teak, on top of a double layer of marine ply. Kept with its natural colour.
Much of the deck and its deck beams were replaced in an earlier refit carried out in her previous ownership.

D5 Eberspacher diesel fed heating system to all compartments.
Saloon with integral galley area. 2 x large Pilot berths/ settees under the side decks. side deck. New oak worktops in the galley with a new gas cooker installed in 2015.
Fresh water (cold only) to heads and the galley. 2 x original bronze manual pumps.
Forward port side, Jabsco sea toilet, new pipework /vents with large porcelain sink. ....in the fore peak twin berth cabin with an escape hatch to deck. . Upholstery was entirely replaced 2017 with breathable heavy duty marine fabric, flame proof foam. There's a large wardrobe and stowage cupboards starboard side of saloon. A double berth in the wheel house, if required.
