Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Alegria, a delightful purpose built houseboat finished to an extremely high specification throughout, offering space, light and comfortable living.
Alegria has had no expense spared in her build, with great thought given to ease of living and ongoing costs, whilst ensuring the fit out is of the highest quality.
Entering through French double doors from a good sized outside area you are immediately struck by the sense of space due to the large double glazed Caldwells clip in windows and excellent head height running throughout the boat.
The lounge/kitchen area is spacious, and boasts machine engineered wooden flooring and a Burley high efficiency log burner, as well as the Webasto central heating that again runs throughout the boat.
The kitchen area has a microwave, integrated Thetford gas oven and extractor fan, and a Bosch energy efficient fridge/freezer. There is also plenty of storage and work tops of excellent quality, and a breakfast bar with four stools.
A corridor leads to the shower room, with large shower cubicle, hand basin, and a Thetford cassette toilet with mains flush.
The guest bedroom has room for a small double bed or sofa bed, and has built in storage.
The main bedroom has a built in double bed, plenty of built in wardrobe and overhead storage space, and a door that leads to a smaller outside area.
Alegria can be simply hooked-up to a marina shoreline supply, but also has 1kW of solar panels (the angle of which can be controlled by an electric drive
operated from within the boat), a high end solar controller and 8 x 110Ahr batteries , which provides sufficient power almost year round. The system has a digital amp-hour monitoring system which make it easy to monitor charging and the state of the batteries.
The houseboat has a Fisher - Panda water cooled generator (only 660 hours run time) and a large inverter. This means that the electrics can operate off a marina supply or mostly off the solar panels giving considerable saving or entirely off-grid. Alegria has all 12v LED recessed lighting and a galvanic isolator fitted. She was out of the water in May 2019 and was painted and had new anodes fitted. She was built of 10/6/5 mm steel.
The attention to detail and finish of Alegria are very impressive, and she should be considered a spacious, energy efficient and economical home.
