Juniper has been well maintained by two previous owners since new. With Seldon in mast furling and lines brought back to the cockpit she is an easy and delightful boat to sail performing well in all conditions.
The standing rigging, saildrive seal and domestic batteries all having been replaced in recent years.

Construction

The hull and deck are laminated in a Hallberg Rassy factory in Sweden. Laminate construction of Hull: NGA gelcoat, and isophtalic polyester resin is used. Hand layout method, insulated above water line against heat and cold.
Integrated rubbing strike with brass strip.
Blue decorative band in gelcoat, strong floor, reinforcements, deep bilge. The boat has a boat on lead keel with 10 stainless steel bolts deck and coats with areas, and also cockpit of sandwich construction laminated to the hull to form a one piece construction.
The deck, toe rail, handrails, cockpit, seats, integrated bathing platform with folding ladder, cockpit floor, and side trims in top quality teak.

Equipment

Deck, toe rail, handrails, cockpit, seats, integrated bathing platform, cockpit, floor, and side, trims in top quality, teak.
Strong cleats, forwards, midships and aft. Strong double stem head roller with 17 kg Delta anchor. Electrical Lofrans anchor windlass mounted on deck.
Two opening skylights reglazed in February 2024. All saloon windows replaced or replaced March 2022, the toilet compartment and aft cabin each have two opening portholes.
Two Lewmar 44 self-tailing winches for genoa sheets. Four other winches for halliards and furling system.
Windscreen with an opening centre section and spray hood in good condition.
Tiller steering via stainless steel rudder shaft with roller bearings.
Dedicated self draining gas locker with two 4.5 kg gas cylinders.
Hallberg, Rassy, cockpit, tent and frame.
Winter cover in heavy PVC but not well tailored. Good to protect decks if you have half a day to put it on.

3-Cylinder Volvo Penta MD2030 28HP engine with sail drive and a two bladed folding bronze propeller.
Sail drive seal replaced June 2021.
Well sound insulated and all parts easily accessible. The engine is fresh water cooled with a raw water heat exchanger.
Three 12 volt domestic batteries (new Oct 2023) 62Ah for engine start.
Charging of batteries is a 60amp alternator from engine via Adverc smart charger.

Main with three vertical battens. 110% Genoa , roller furling jib for heavy weather.
Spinnaker and cruising chute little used and in near new condition.
