A very tidy example of the popular Elan 333, Beluga II has had one owner from new in 2000. She is well known around Poole Harbour and the Solent having been successfully raced over many years in Cowes Week, Round the Island and many other regattas and club races, as well as the most frequent representative of either club in the Commodore’s Challenge Youth Match Racing between Parkstone and Poole. She has teak decks, lead keel and folding prop.
Also a very comfortable family cruiser to take across the Channel and to the West Country, or just to overnight around the coast.

Beluga II has always been based in Poole so generally the engine is on for 10 minutes while entering or exiting the berth. Estimated total hours are 750. The engine is serviced annually by a club member mechanic. With a clean hull in flat water it pushes her along at 6.5 to 7 knots at around 2400 rpm.
Overall raced regularly 2000 to 2008, then I worked overseas till 2012 after which I raced dinghies and R19 pocket cruisers so racing sails little used since new in 2014/15. Boat used for Poole v Parkstone Commodores Challenge Match Race training and Match annually but with Kemp main, jib and spinnaker. Therefore little racing since 2007 so standing rigging (replaced 2008) and racing sails (replaced 2014 and later) little used and in good condition. Dacron sails used for cruising.
