The Whammel is based on the renowned seaworthy Morcambe Bay open fishing craft. The name ‘Whammel’ is derived from the type of net used. With a powerful traditional rig they were renowned for seaworthiness and sailing performance. The ‘Weekender’ has two berths in the forward cockpit allowing camping afloat. This version has a central locker and a spray hood on a stainless steel frame plus a zip in back panel to enclose the forward cockpit area and includes a set of berth cushions. This boat is clean and tidy and was sailed in the lakes over summer. She is in very good condition and has been lightly used always in freshwater. New engine March 2024, New anchor and chain. 6 new fenders. New on the water cover.
