Alisha has a Volvo Penta MD2020D. This is a lovely engine and more than enough to push this yacht to hull speed. The engine has a full service each winter and then an extra oil change each summer.
The engine had new mounts, serviced injectors, a new cutlass bearing, new coolant and the tappets have been adjusted. This was in addition to a full service. A new exhaust elbow was fitted in 2018 which was checked and the first part of exhaust replaced in 2023. We had this done as was apart when the mountings were replaced, although not needed was done as preventative maintence. The engine has done around 1650 hrs.
