Bavaria34 - 2001/2002
First to view will buy!
This is a well - maintained, strengthened and modified one owner from new example of the hugely popular Bavaria 34 owners model. At 10.8 metres (35ft 7inches)Saloma features the 2 double cabin layout (outside of the main saloon) providing spacious interior volume with a very generous master cabin forward, a spacious double cabin aft and a large saloon cabin with two excellent sea berths, full size chart table, extended galley and a large heads with shower. Modifications to the galley are to a professional standard to match the original mahogany finish. Saloma has been strengthened and modified for serious single handed sailing by experienced sailor/engineer.

Forward cabin: Generous master cabin with massive storage under double berth, hanging and shelved lockers with open shelves to port and starboard. 3 overhead opening deck hatches, with roller blinds. Heating outlet, 240v socket, 12 volt socket and lighting by Led or Halogen
Saloon: with two single settee berths either side of the saloon Table. Lockers and shelf storage each side and additional storage behind seat backs and under settees. Table has drop leafs and concealed storage for 8 bottles, 3 drawers and a storage space built into the table support structure. In addition to the opening 4 portlights in the saloon, Saloma has opening port lights in the hull to allow a view when seated at the table. With the overhead hatch and the opening portlights the saloon is both bright and well ventilated. Curtains to all portlights and a roller blind on the hatch make the saloon very cosy on cold evenings.
Galley: Port side galley has a twin burner gas cooker with oven, Top opening fridge with efficient Frigomatic keel cooled unit which consumes 0.9 amps per hour. It also makes Ice. Stainless steel sink has hot and cold pressurised water supply and there is a concealed rubbish bin and well thought out ample storage. I have added to the original galley a grab rail, high level deep fiddled shelf and fold down work surface all in mahogany matching the quality of the original joinery. This enables the galley to be worked to maximum advantage within the space available, and has been featured in the yachting press.
Chart Table: Good sized forward facing chart table with seat and storage beneath both. Electrics and instruments mounted for ease of use. I have added a grab rail to enable instruments to be viewed at the best height and looking in the direction of travel of the boat. Again this was featured in the yachting press.
