Description

The Albin Vega 27 has a reputation for rugged, performance sailing. The long keel and classical construction result in a seaworthy cruiser / racer, capable of circumnavigation and shorter coastal passages. She can be readily managed by one person and is ready for her next adventure.

Lyrae is currently ashore near Chichester. She had Coppercoat applied in spring 2023 which has proven extremely effective over the last two seasons. Her Beta Marine 16hp engine was fitted in 2010 and remains reliable and in excellent condition. Both the engine and gearbox have been serviced with new filters and fluids.
